Dr. Barrie Tan comments on a recent study which suggests Delta-Tocotrienol in combination with standard therapy increased survival in refractory ovarian cancer patients.

The family of vitamin E has two main subgroups known as Tocopherols and Tocotrienols. Later it was observed that not Tocopherol, but Tocotrienol-based Vitamin E is one of the most potent antioxidants which can help prevent and suppress several cancers, cardiovascular diseases, NAFLD, Alzheimers, cataract, stroke, obesity, diabetes, and many more.
Tocotrienols come with short tails with double bonds which deliver a supple and flexible way to embrace large surface areas of the membrane. On the other hand, tocopherols have a longer tail without any double bonds (phytyl), that grounds them to be static, and subsequently, they shield a more restrained surface area of the cell membrane. Hence, tocotrienols have 50x greater antioxidant potential than tocopherols.
As examined by researchers, the average American diet can only supply you with 2mg Tocotrienols per day, which is just 1-2% of the amount that your body needs! Hence, unfortunately, your daily diet doesn’t fulfill the body’s demand of Tocotrienols. Therefore, supplementation of Tocotrienol is very necessary.
Studies have revealed that a normal healthy person should consume at least 100-200 mg of Tocotrienols per day for the protection of lipids and cell membranes. DeltaGold Tocotrienol was granted FDA-affirmed GRAS in 2014 and has been proven to be safe for consumption up to 600 mg/day in all clinical trials.
Tocotrienols are lipid-soluble. Hence, it is best when consumed with a meal. Up to 300 mg of Tocotrienols can be consumed at each meal to help easy, and effective absorption. Tocotrienols shouldn’t be taken on an empty stomach.
It was observed in several studies that Tocopherols intervene with Tocotrienol benefits. In a study conducted in 1996, it was observed that Alpha-tocopherol, even in very small quantities greatly affected the functions of Tocotrienols even when Tocotrienols were consumed in large quantities. Eannatto DeltaGold is 100% Tocopherol free and provides you with 100% pure Tocotrienols!
Both Palm oil and Rice Bran Oil contain only 50% Tocotrienols and 50% Tocopherols. As mentioned above, Tocopherols intervene with the functioning of Tocotrienols. Eannatto DetaGold has 100% pure Annatto Tocotrienols and is 100% Tocopherol-free.
Although there is no contraindication to Tocotrienol consumption with medicines, we advise you to consult your doctor or your healthcare professional before taking any kind of supplements.
Under the mild chronic condition, a person should take 300-450 mg of DeltaGold Tocotrienol per day, and for a person suffering from advanced chronic conditions should take 450-600 mg of DeltaGold Tocotrienols per day. Several studies have revealed that 300-600 mg of Tocotrienols should be consumed per day.
DeltaGold Tocotrienols are obtained from the Annatto plants, found deep in the jungles of Amazon. They are extracted naturally and are not adulterated with any kind of chemicals.
In the research conducted at Brunswick laboratories, the ORAC value of Eannatto DeltaGold Tocotrienol was compared to Tocopherol and mixed Tocotrienols, by Dr. Boxin Ou. What he observed was that the antioxidant potential of DeltaGold Tocotrienols was much higher than both the compounds.
The USDA Lab and the University of Georgia have also published articles supporting the incredible antioxidant potential of DeltaGold Tocotrienol. The University of California/Berkeley has also found in its research that Tocotrienols or around 50 times more potent than Tocopherols.
Tocotrienols are the fat-soluble elements as they come from the Vitamin E family. They are easily absorbed in the akin manner as generally, fats from the food do. They appear to get deposited in the lipid-rich organs like the liver, brain, spleen, lung, kidney, and heart. They get circulated and blend in the blood at nearly 4 hours post-ingestion. These are absorbed comparatively easily when taken with fat-rich foods.
Annatto Tocotrienol is better in the sense that it is tocopherol-free, and hence there is no risk for interference with benefits by alpha-tocopherol. Also, annatto tocotrienol provides only the most potent delta- and gamma-tocotrienol isomers.
DeltaGold Tocotrienol soft gels are very stable. They can retain their potency for at least 3 years at room temperature! Hence, refrigeration is not needed.
DeltaGold Tocotrienols are supplements and are not a replacement for antioxidant foods. They help enhance your health. They are “supplements” and not “substitutions” in any way. Hence, you need to supplement your diet with DeltaGold Tocotrienols and nor replace your regular food with them.
As discussed earlier, nowadays, Tocopherol-based Vitamin E is not recommended since an alternative Tocotrienol, which has 50 times more antioxidant potency, has been found. Moreover, Tocopherol hinders the functioning and benefits of Tocotrienols.
